Emergency Medical Service Education

The HealthEast Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Education department provides emergency medical service instruction to business, industry and public safety agencies. Courses cover emergency medical training, first responder training, medical drills, first aid, automatic external defibrillator (AED), CPR and continuing education programs. EMS Education can also work individually with organizations to formulate and develop emergency medical response teams.

Nearly all EMS Education instructors are emergency medical technicians (EMTs) or paramedics who bring many years of field experience to the classroom. Instructors use a variety of unique and engaging techniques to teach, including role-playing and computer-generated presentations that use video, sound and customized backgrounds to help enhance the learning experience. Both techniques have been popular with past students. A majority of EMS Education clients are referrals from previous clients and students. This is a testament to the quality and style of training that EMS Education provides.
